Rudy Lopez, President opened the meeting at 7:03PM. Rudy greeted the membership and asked for any new members or guests to stand and introduce themselves, none were present.
New Business: Rudy encouraged members to sign up to turn in wood turned items for the Florida State Fair, the turn in date is December 15 for the FORMS.
Rudy also reminded the members of the cookout at Glenn Ploeckelmann’s home on November 13, bring a dish to share. Rudy offered a motion to have the club pay for the meat this year. The motion was seconded and voted on and passed unanimously.
Rudy also encouraged members to check the club website for the new Events Calendar that has been added to the site.
Sandra Dean read the treasures report, the club is in good shape.
Rudy also reminded the members of the Trent Bosch workshop dates, January 19, 20 & 21 that will be held at Al Hockenbery’s shop, cost is between $325 & $350. Rudy reminded everyone of the David Ellsworth workshop March 26.
Also the Florida Symposium will be held February 4,5 & 6 at Lake Yale and the annual Woodworking show will be held at the Florida State Fair Grounds March18-20.
The business meeting was adjourned and the raffle was held following the break.
