Don is an accomplished woodturner, instructor and demonstrator from the Gainesville, FL area.

He attended the Arrowmont School of Art and Crafts for a class on “Turning a Hollow Form”, instructed by David Ellsworth. He has also attended the David Ellsworth School of Woodturning, in Quakertown, PA. He attended a class on “Turning Magnificent Hollow Forms” instructed by John Mascoll.

He has assisted David Ellsworth (6 times), Al Stirt (twice), John Jordan, Nick Cook, Bihn Pho and Don Duden with classes at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Bruce Hoover with a class at the John C. Campbell Folk School.

He has attended and demonstrated at numerous regional AAW symposiums and ha attended AAW national symposiums all over the USA. He has performed demonstrations for AAW Chapters throughout the eastern seaboard. He teaches hands-on workshops at the Florida Woodturning Symposium each year.

Don has invented several devices designed to solve problems woodturners encounter every day. These devices are sold throughout the world.
