Rudy made several comments and announcements that are described below:
· Wood is available from several people – Reed from Craftsmen Supply has a nice assortment of wood in his truck for sale; Jim Smith has camphor to give away; Rudy brought a van full of wood for members to take; and Larry Hasiak had wood as well.
· Rudy introduced Reed from Craftsmen Supply in Temple Terrace; Reed spoke about the family history of his business and their expansion into more wood turning tools and supplies. The club bought several pieces of wood from Reed and they were auctioned during the meeting.
· David Ellsworth will be doing a hands-on course for our club on March 23-25 – the cost will be from $130 to $150 per day for attendees; There will also be club demo on Saturday March 26th. David normally provides an excellent course with a focus on technique and trouble shooting.
